1. Harvard Debate UKTOC International Qualifier ISDI 1 (2025-10-25)
At the Harvard Debate UKTOC International Qualifier ISDI 1, YHL students Vicky Zhao and Peter Yang advanced to the Final round in the Original Oratory (OO) event.
Vicky ultimately placed 5th, and Peter placed 6th.

2. Harvard Debate UKTOC International Qualifier ISDI 2 (2025-11-22)
Congratulations to our student Vicky for winning 1st Place in Original Oratory at the Harvard Debate UKTOC International Qualifier ISDI 2!
With this outstanding performance, Vicky has earned a TOC Full Bid, which means she is now directly qualified for next year’s TOC Nationals — one of the most prestigious high-school speech championships in the United States.
Since joining Youth Horizons in early 2024, Vicky has consistently demonstrated dedication, discipline, and a strong desire to grow. We’ve watched her develop her voice step by step and achieve remarkable results along the way. This championship is a well-deserved recognition of her hard work.
3. Youth Horizons Students Selected for WIDPSC Team China
Youth Horizons students have been selected for WIDPSC Team China, representing the Chinese National Speech Team at an international championship in the UK.
This marks the third consecutive year Youth Horizons has successfully placed students on Team China, reflecting the strength of our systematic training in international speech and critical thinking.
