Coach Alexandre

Alexandre is a distinguished competitive debater recognized for sharp analytical thinking, compelling rhetoric, and exceptional leadership within the national speech and debate community. A two-time national champion, Alexandre has earned top honors in both Congressional Debate and Extemporaneous Speaking, demonstrating mastery in argumentation, research synthesis, and public advocacy.

As Director of Speech and a dedicated mentor to emerging competitors, Alexandre cultivates an environment grounded in intellectual rigor, clarity, and inclusivity. They emphasize strategic communication, empathy, and disciplined critical thinking—skills that empower students to excel both in and beyond competition.

Alexandre's work extends beyond the tournament sphere. They actively engage with issues at the intersection of law, civil rights, and global policy, using debate as a platform to inspire thoughtful discourse on justice, governance, and international affairs.

A member of the University of Florida Honors Program and the Freshman Leadership Council, Alexandre blends academic excellence with civic commitment. Their interdisciplinary focus—spanning debate, philosophy, and environmental policy—reflects a vision for meaningful social impact. Alexandre's dedication to competitive excellence, ethical leadership, and educational mentorship continues to shape and inspire the next generation of speakers and thinkers.
