Youth AI Institute is designed for middle and high school students who want to move beyond simply using AI tools. Our programs help students understand how AI works, develop the technical skills to build with it, and apply AI to meaningful real-world problems.
Through a progressive, project-based pathway, students advance from AI foundations and applied development to engineering, research, entrepreneurship, and competition. Each stage combines technical learning with problem-solving, independent thinking, and tangible project outcomes.

The Four-Level Pathway
From AI Foundations to Advanced Innovation
Youth AI Institute is built as a progressive four-level pathway that helps students move from understanding AI to applying it, building with it, and ultimately using it for advanced research, entrepreneurship, and competition.
Each level develops both technical capability and independent thinking, while preparing students for increasingly ambitious projects and opportunities.
Level 1 - Foundation
Build essential AI literacy, foundational Python skills, computational thinking, and research awareness. Students develop a practical understanding of Python, learn how AI systems work, explore responsible use, and begin applying core concepts through guided projects.
Level 2 - Intermediate
Move from understanding to building. Students strengthen technical foundations through applied AI projects, develop and deploy multiple applications, and complete a capstone project supported by structured research and reflection.
Level 3 - Advanced Pathways
Choose a direction based on interests and strengths: Research, Startup, or Competition. Students work more independently with expert mentorship to develop stronger technical projects, research outputs, prototypes, or competition submissions.
Level 4 - Elite Opportunities
High-performing students may progress toward more selective opportunities such as advanced startup development, research collaboration, university-affiliated projects, publications, and high-level innovation competitions.

Students prepare projects for AI, science, entrepreneurship, and innovation competitions, gaining experience in presenting, explaining, and defending their work.
