Spencer is a premier debate coach and former competitor from American Heritage Broward. During his five-year competitive career, Spencer established himself as a dominant force in the circuit, earning an impressive 20 bids to the Tournament of Champions (TOC). His competitive record includes championship titles at the most prestigious tournaments in the nation, including Harvard, Yale, and the Tournament of Champions (TOC) itself.

Transitioning immediately into a high-impact coaching role, Spencer has achieved remarkable success in just his first year. He has guided students to championships at the TOC, the Mid America Cup, and UC Berkeley. Under his mentorship, his students have also reached the final rounds at Stanford, Grapevine, and Strake, as well as the semifinals at Glenbrooks, Emory, and Yale (twice). Outside of debate, Spencer enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, and listening to music.
