Yuriy is an engineer-turned-comedy writer and advertising creative based in Brooklyn. A graduate of Stanford University, Yuriy brings a unique analytical background to the art of humor. He has written jokes for SNL’s Colin Jost and Michael Che and developed national commercial campaigns for major brands including Assassin's Creed, Roku, Zocdoc, and T-Mobile.

Currently, Yuriy is the co-founder of Laugh Your Ads Off, a national workshop series on comedy in advertising. He specializes in using his engineering roots to break down joke structures, teaching students the mechanics of how humor actually works. In addition to teaching young writers how to turn their ideas into sharp, confident comedy, Yuriy performs standup and writes comedic scripts.
